Pre-Wash Your Fabrics: Machine wash gentle cold, non-chlorine bleach, tumble dry low, cool iron
Cotton: Cotton fibers will shrink unless it has been preshrunk or processed.
Precuts: Do not prewash precut products! This includes 2 1/2" strips, 5" to 10” squares, and fabric with or without fusible.
Batik Fabrics: These fabrics contain wax and dye. Pre-washing is recommended to reduce shrinkage and color bleeding (transfer).
Caution: Using of a ‘Color or Dye Catcher Sheet’ (like Shout) can be used for solid reds, blacks, and other dark colors. The sheets will not prevent all color transfer so it is recommended to wash in like colors.
